In September, NetEnt continued its expansion into new markets, and now its games will be launched on the regulated market of Canada.
The Swedish supplier has completed technical integration with British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) under an agreement with an IGT vendor in the US. As a result, NetEnt first released several games on the Canadian market through IGT Connect integration provided by BCLC.
BCLC is a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA), an industry organization for government authorized lotteries around the world.
Teresa Hillman, CEO of NetEnt, commented: “The launch of our games for BCLC customers is a milestone for the company in our expansion into North America. Entering regulated markets is an important part of our strategy for the future, particularly in the WLA segment. I am confident that our exciting games will be highly regarded by BCLC’s players.
Other NetEnt projects during the busy September include the launch of games in Lithuania and Norway, as well as the beta launch of a new affiliate business, the appointment of an interim CFO and the application for a gaming license in Pennsylvania.
